At The Museum

 It was morning and I was in my bedroom when my mother yelled at me “Wake up Alexis”! Obeying my mother’s order, I got up as fast as I could and went down the stairs. “We’re going to the museum today” said my mom with excitement.”Too boring mom” I said. “If you don’t come with us I will ground you for a month.”I have no choice but to go out with them in the boring and dusty museum.

 After a long journey, we stopped  in an old and dusty place.”We’re here” my mother said after a short walked I suddenly shouted” What is special about this place anyway?” “Bring the past to the present and the present to the future” the guard said” What do you mean by that? ”I asked “You will know if you go inside said the guard.

When we got inside, I was so amazed to see that the place I was mocking was actually a wonderful world of knowledge. Excited, I brought out my digital camera and took pictures of the beautiful antique artifacts even though I saw the sign saying “Don’t take pictures.” I kept on  taking photos until a guard saw me. He shouted at me, “You kid doesn’t read the sign?”, I’m very sorry”, I said. I was ashamed of myself because I broke a rule, but that rule still taught me a lesson.

 When we were about to leave my mother suddenly asked me about my experience at the museum”I said “its fine mom after a quite silence I asked “When we go back here?” She replied, “Next time my dear son.”
